CYNETART 2010 Teaser
We are happy to announce first aspects of this years CYNETART programme. Get an idea of what the 14th edition of the festival from November 11th to 17th in the Festspielhaus Hellerau will offer its audience.The festival 2010 is closely connected to the international CYNETART competition. Out of the pool of more than 300 submissions our jury suggested artist to take part in CYNETART 2010.
Look forward to André & Michel Décosterd, Anke Eckardt, Jannis Kreft and Verena Friedrich. The awardees will be announced early October.
Further highlights are the premiere of Ulf Langheinrich‘s latest artwork LAG as well as the first presentation of Sonia Cillari‘s new performance-installation Sensitive to Pleasure.
CYNETART is part of the European networking- and co-operation project E.C.A.S – Networking Tomorrow’s Art For An Unknown Future, that focuses this year on the topic: “Cultural Festivals and Events as Living Laboratories: Experimenting in new forms and models of presenting artworks, of new working methods and engaging audience”.
Therefore stands a continuation of Automatic Clubbing as well as the Uttopia Attraktor-workshop with UBERMORGEN.COM. Automatic Clubbing presents this year: Volker Morawe und Tilman Reiff, Zerkalo, Annie Hall and Minimal Wave’s Veronica Vasicka as well as the buddy’s of Dresdens Uncanny Valley.Already well established in Dresden and also part in the programme of CYNETART 2010 are the Tele-Plateaus – net-linked, virtual environments of telematic encounter. On the occasion of Istanbul’s nomination as European Capital of Culture, CYNETART 2010 will in co-operation with amber’10 Art and Technology Festival Istanbul (http://www.amberfestival.org/) partly link the two cities during the festival.
